Body system: Gynecological ConditionsRegulation: 38 CFR § 4.116DBQ: DBQ GYN Gynecological

Female sexual arousal disorder (FSAD) is a condition where a woman has persistent difficulty becoming physically aroused during sexual activity, despite having the desire. The VA doesn't assign percentage ratings for this condition under diagnostic code 7632. Instead, they review cases to see if you qualify for Special Monthly Compensation (SMC), which is additional tax-free money on top of any disability rating you might have for related conditions.

Rating levels

  • 0% — You have been diagnosed with female sexual arousal disorder, which means you have ongoing difficulty becoming physically aroused or maintaining arousal during sexual activity. This condition is recognized by the VA as a service-connected disability, but at this rating level, your symptoms are considered mild enough that they don't significantly impact your ability to work or perform daily activities. The VA acknowledges the condition exists but determines it doesn't cause substantial functional impairment in your life.
