Body system: Endocrine SystemRegulation: 38 CFR § 4.119DBQ: DBQ ENDO Thyroid & Parathyroid

This diagnostic code covers any cancerous tumor (malignant neoplasm) that develops in your endocrine system - the network of glands that produce hormones like your thyroid, adrenal glands, pancreas, or pituitary gland. The VA automatically rates all malignant endocrine tumors at 100% disability while you're receiving active treatment and for six months after treatment ends. This recognizes that cancer treatment severely impacts your ability to work and function normally.
